though i believe the real Olympic will not be hosted here for obvious reasons..

i’d be keen to watch the track meets and the pool event.

smart enough that i caught my boss oogling at nude girls pasted on Words.

smart enough that i know that my boss owes me for not whistling.
smart enough to know that he is always playing games on his computer.

if my boss is smart enough, he’ll know that i’m talking about him.

few years back, a friend asked me if i gonna celebrate the Valentine’s Day. so obviously, i said no.

she asked me why and religions aside, i told her what for? besides, as cliche as it sounds, Valentines Day is really overrated. and like further cliches,  its the time of the year where gift shops, restaurants and flower shops ripped its customers off.

ie, the bill in Fish& Co. for a meal for two easily reach 80bucks…. yeahhh.. change the menu which they just make them cheesier(pun unintentional) although i must admit it does taste good, decorate the place around with balloons and light up a tealight candle and taaadaaaa…. they triple the price of the food.. heh.

anyways, this friend of mine just snorted and  exclaimed that i said that because i dont have a boyfriend before. so i dunno what its like to spend the day with someone special..

she does give me a brief moment to think(about what she said) and i almost believe her. but i got back swinging on my feet when i realised that i’ve never fantasised about having a date on Vday. i dont mind not getting flowers. heck. i dont even have a favourite flower. anyways, i wouldnt want to walk around parading the flowers(i’d rather have it in a plastic bag like how Dodo did. really!! i think its thoughtful of him not to force me to ‘baby carry’ the flowers)

and even if i do carry the bouquet, i want it to be only me. ME the only Lady thats holding the bouquet. not when every girl around me is lugging one. and the only time that i’ll be doing that gladly will be on my BIG DAY.

cliche again, we dont need a special day to remind us to love. everyday is love day. so lets make love!! hehehe..

so the verdict? well i have a boyfriend now and i still dont give a damn for Valentine’s Day.

my boyfriend is one lucky dude eh?

hehehehe……

think my ordeal of sleepless nights of coughing and hunger is ending.

HOORAH for me!!

nothing is worse than being sick on a CNY holiday.

and its all because of Black Pepper Chicken Rice (and perhaps the most upsetting event of the year plays a part too).

Monday was great and i cant wait for the coming hols. until i stumble upon someone’s blog and got really upset. upset with the accusations. i admit some were mistakes i made and if someone is pissed at me at that, i understand. but accusing me of the things i didnt do, thats a bit too much.

And on that particular, i met Dodo as usual at TP and got into fumes of irritation that he came late. it wasnt a big deal really, i mean he is always late *wink*wink*, especially after work (he has responsibilities that he cant shirk) and i should know that. but that day, i dont know. emotions got the better of me i guess. and i’m really really sorry for acting so childishly. anyways, its only for a few minutes….. hee…..

to cut story short, i was hungry and so i bought the black pepper chicken rice with Dodo (he had nasi ayam penyet) had dinner at my place, where he played Pes8(??) with bro dear thats when he lost a dozen times which he blamed the players. heck. his passing accuracy is novo. zero. nada. heheheheh..

and thats the end of Monday.

on Tuesday, i woke up with a discomfort in my stomach, like nauseous but shake that away and head to work with my mind set on the fun stuffs i planned on CNY hols. but by lunch time, i had to head home because the pain is excruciating. as soon as i reach home, i slept like a baby till dusk. felt a lil better until i had dinner which i threw them all out from where it came in. and i run a lil bit of temperature and all the while hoping that i’ll be better by Wednesday.

On Wednesday, i planned to go to work still since its just half day but i cant seem to get up as i still felt so sick. went to the doctor and was diagnosis(??) with stomach flu. and was given MC. bleargghhhhh…….

On Thursay, plan had to be revised due to my unattractive condition(i’m still sick but i’m not letting that make me stay at home and not enjoy the holidays). and yet to be revised again since tickets been selling fast and non of us(points finger to me) had the initiative to book tickets beforehand. btw, dont they visit relatives on CNY? why flock the cinemas? and had to walk all the way from the Cathay to Suntec City so Dodo can have his lunch, under the humid hot sun. on usual days, its fine with me, but on that particular day, i felt like fainting a couple of times but managed to keep my cool at all times. hee…… then we head home cause Dodo had dinner date with family.

On Friday, i literally slept the whole afternoon which is a waste. a big big big waste but all is not lost as i watched midnight show with Dodo (i told you i’m not going to waste my holiday entirely). and boy, do i have fun.

and today, well, went window shopping with mom and aunt around Novena and then head to causeway point for some window shopping again and met my dad and brother at the void deck and made our way to Changi Village for dinner where we met old friends and relatives and where we saw litters everywhere. tsk. Changi Beach has never been that dirty! i’ll be ashamed if any tourist were to go there at that point of time. and then before we went home, we detour to pasir ris for my dad’s dose of fishing frenzy. he dont have to fis, he feels satisfied enough to get him going just watching other people fish.
