Currently, i’m reading a book ‘Membina Rasa Cinta’ written by Dr HM Tuah Iskandar Al-Haj, who is not only a psychologist, but also a motivator. He is the Malay/Muslim version of John Gray. His book also covers about love in the muslim context, where he also includes contoh-contoh bagaimana Rasullullah dan para Nabi yang lain mencintai teman hidup mereka dan bagaimana Baginda mengatasi rintangan (i just cant think what it is in English takut tersalah tafsir).

And in one of the chapters of his book, he showed an example of doa, that we all can adapt, especially the ladies, when our hearts and minds are filled with doubts, uncertainaties, worries.

I’m sharing this with you my sisters as when we are going through a relationship, its gonna be a hardwork and sometimes, things are not as what we planned. i hoped this will, as the writer said, Mententeramkan hati yang mengelocak.

Recite the following:

Dengan nama ALLAH yang Maha Pengasih, lagi Maha Penyayang. Ya TUHAN-ku, aku akui Kekuasaan-Mu, nikmat, lagi rahmat, buat diriku tak terbalas olehku, Ya ALLAH.

Ya TUHANku, hambaMU ini mensyukuri rahmat yang KAU beri, umpama rezeki, melipah-ruah, ya ALLAH. Alhamdulillah.

Dengan rahmat-MU, Ya ALLAH, KAU temukan kami, maka, satukanlah hati kami, titipkanlah rindu antara kami, mekarkanlah cinta antara kami. Lantas, peliharalah kami ya ALLAH, dari bisikan iblis yang datang menggoda, agar kami sentiasa teguh dalam syariat agama.

Ya RAHIM, permudahkanlah jalan jodoh kami, serta dipermurahkan rezeki kami.

Jadikanlah kami antara pasangan yang bersyukur. Dengan rahmat-MU, ya ALLAH, lagi, sinarilah hati kami, dengan nur iman yang bergemerlapan, agar kami tidak hanyut, dengan godaan dunia, yang hanya pinjaman semata.

Amin, Amin. Ya Rabbil A’lamiin.

I hope in a way, the doa, did help, InsyaAllah.

I came across this book when i was in my parent’s room to do some ironing and it got me stuck into it. its interesting and i cant seem to put the book down.

at the end of the read, i hope, i’ll do better in the love department and will avoid myself doing the common mistakes that leads to a not-so-sweet-relationship. InsyaAllah.
